Bruce Stark.

BMus, BA, ROBP, CMT

Bruce Stark is an Advanced Practitioner and Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy, a gentle, non-invasive form of therapeutic and structural bodywork developed by British osteopath Dr Arthur Lincoln Pauls. Through positioning and movement of the body, the focus in Ortho-Bionomy sessions is to interact with the structural and physiological mechanisms of the body which facilitate self-balance and self-correction, whilst stimulating the body’s innate ability to regain health, flexibility and well-being.

Bruce has been in private practice since 1989 in somatic therapies in the US and since 2001 in Australia. He specialises in working with clients with structural imbalances and alignment (joint pain, injuries, stress), physical sensitivities, complex pain issues, postural re-education, trauma resolution, nervous system dysregulation, scar tissue, and post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation and recovery.

He is a leading hands-on practitioner and somatic educator and regularly conducts training in Ortho-Bionomy across Australia and New Zealand. He is a sought-after presenter at professional conferences including Massage and Myotherapy Australia, Massage New Zealand, American Massage Therapy Association, and the Australasian Lymphology Association.
